Capturing Character

Portraits are not just pretty pictures of people. A portrait is a memory in honor of someone that you love or someone else has loved.  As people, we are constantly changing and growing as time and life continues pressing forward.  Sometimes it's hard to stop and remember who we once were and who we are to know what we desire to be.  In a portrait, you can distinguish a person's face of someone you more than likely know, but it's the character and memories of that person that speaks out beyond the art.
